Anand Sharma to address meeting of State Industry Ministers on 17 November

Anand Sharma, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry will address a meeting of state Industry Ministers on 17th Nov, 2009 in New Delhi to discuss and deliberate on ways for accelerating Industrial Investments in the country. As a precursor to that meeting, Ajay Shankar, Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) on Friday chaired a preparatory conference of State Industry Secretaries. The discussions focused on feasible specific measures for accelerating Industrial Investments through creation of a business friendly policy cum procedural environment in the country.
