A Court of Inquiry ordered into MI-17 Helicopter crash
One MI 17 IV Helicopter of IAF crashed in Chenab river on 30 Oct 09 at about 1320 hrs. The aircraft took off from Jammu and was the second aircraft of a two aircraft formation on a routine training flying sortie. There were four personnel on board. There is no reported damage to any civil property or life. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident.
