Influenza A H1N1 toll rises to 475 in India
The death toll due to the influenza A H1N1 virus has increased to 475 as on Monday. On 1st November 2009, 46299 passengers had been screened at 22 Airports with 83 counters manned by 225 doctors and 172 paramedics. Total passengers screened till date is 7986609.
Till date, samples from 73755 persons have been tested for Influenza A H1N1 in Government Laboratories and a few private Laboratories across the country and 13973 (18.9%) of them have been found positive.
