Durgesh Shankar joins as Member CBDT

Durgesh Shankar on Friday joined as Member of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). Shankar belongs to 1973 batch of the Indian Revenue Service. Before joining the CBDT, he was a Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Delhi. He has also served, on deputation, as Managing Director of Central Cottage Industries Corporation and Senior Director of Crafts Museum, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Department of Science & Technology and Ministry of Railways.
