Exhibition of Paintings and drawings from the 18th to the early 20th centuries at National Gallery of Modern Art

, has inaugurated an exhibition of the paintings and drawings by western artists from the 18th to the early 20th centuries here on Friday, at the National Gallery of Modern Art, in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. The exhibition is supported by the World Collections Programme and will later showcase at the Victoria Memorial Kolkata and Salarjung Museum Hyderabad.

The exhibition will be open for public from October 27-December 6, 2009. The exhibition will display 100 drawn works selected from the V&A’s collection by 20 Western artists depicting the architecture, landscape and people of India.
The exhibition will be displayed in four sections.
