Tribute to two of our legendary leaders on October 2

2 October 2009, marks the birth anniversary of two legendary leaders of India,
Mahatama Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. On the one hand, the principle of peace and non-violence, which Mahatma Gandhi prophesied are most relevant in the India context. The people across the globe should follow his footprints in both letter and spirit to promote global peace and harmony. On the other hand, the slogan propounded by Lal Bahadur Shastri, Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, who reinvigorated the entire Nation remain most appropriate.
