Influenza A H1N1update
The total number of death caused by Influenza A H1N1 virus has risen to 405 as on 16 october. On 15th October 2009, 52797 passengers have been screened at 22 Airports with 83 counters manned by 225 doctors and 172 paramedics. Total passengers screened till date is 7241364. Till date, samples from 66872 persons have been tested for Influenza A H1N1 in Government Laboratories and a few private Laboratories across the country and 12605 (18.8%) of them have been found positive.
